Mount Barker Whodunit

This Whodunit game gets you exploring Mount Barker in 1873. Do it solo or with a friend, visit the evidence location sites, compare what the building looked like back then, read about the place and the evidence, examine each suspects alibi, then make your accusation.

Mount Barker, 1873. Two young men — a smith and a stable boy — are found dead in a locked room at Gray's Inn, a charcoal stove still burning between them. The police station stands twenty metres across the road. The inquest is over before lunch. The verdict: no one to blame. But the master key is missing, the chimney flue is blocked, and a gentleman's name has been scratched from the police report.

Walk the oldest main street in the Adelaide Hills. Seven stops. Seven pieces of evidence. The inn still stands. The police station still stands. The foundry, the church, the courthouse — they're all here, exactly where they were a hundred and fifty years ago. Somewhere in Mount Barker's colonial past, someone got away with murder. It's time to name them.
